Anxiety
If Substances Were the Only Thing That Quieted Your Mind, You Are Not Alone
Care for anxiety and substance use together so calm does not have to come from a bottle or a pill.
Anxiety drives a great deal of substance use. Alcohol, benzodiazepines, and other substances can quiet a racing mind for a while, and then make the anxiety worse over time, building dependence in the process.
We assess anxiety as part of every admission and support it directly, combining clinical care with breathwork, mindfulness, and other practices that teach the nervous system how to settle without substances.
