Medication-Assisted Treatment
Needing Medication to Recover Is Not Failing at Recovery
Medication-assisted treatment can make opioid recovery safer and more sustainable.
Medication-assisted treatment uses approved medications, alongside clinical care, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal from opioids. At Soul Detox, this includes Suboxone or buprenorphine induction, Vivitrol or naltrexone, and ongoing medication management tailored to the individual.
Medication-assisted treatment is not for everyone, and it is never the whole plan. For many people with opioid use disorder, it is the difference between white-knuckling through withdrawal and getting through it with stability. We talk through whether it fits your situation honestly.
Medication is paired with mental health support and the full care of our program, because medication manages the body while the rest of the work restores the person.
